It’s pretty straight forward.  You send us the products to review.  If it’s a service, you can invite us to experience the service.  If we received the product and/or accept your invitation, we will send it to our editorial team to review the product/service.  Our editorial team will then use the product and also photograph it.  They will write a review article and then publish it on the next available publishing date.

Qualifying Criteria:

• Products or Services must be for women or men between the ages of 25 – 34 years of age.
• Products or Services must have been trialled and tested by our editorial team and only if they are satisfied with the quality of the products or services, they will publish the review based on the publishing criteria.

Publishing Criteria:

• If the product you sent us is less than R 2,000 we will only feature it on social media.
• If the product you sent us is more than R 2,500 we will feature it on social media and mooitroues.co.za

Right to Decline:

• We have the right to decline any product- or service review.

Our in-house photography team will photograph the products or services to fit in with the visual aesthetics of the Mooi Troues brand.

Günther is leads the photography department. He is a Airbnb Luxe Approved Photographer as well as a Marriott International Approved Photographer.  Günther is the former official photographer for Top Billing, Expresso Show, Afternoon Express, and Win a Home Show.  His present and past clients include PG Bison, Home Owners Magazine, New Media Publishing, Cardova Productions, PPC Cement, Lanzerac Hotel, Marianne Wine Estate, and many more amazing clients.

HOW MUCH WILL A PRODUCT/SERVICE REVIEW COST?

We do not charge for product/service reviews if we get to keep the products or experiencing the service.

HOW LONG UNTILL MY PRODUCT/SERVICE WILL BE PUBLISHED?

This really depends on our publishing schedule and how busy our schedule is at the specific time when your product/service is reviewed.  Any cosmetic products will only be published 1 month or later after we received the product, so that we have time to test it.

WHAT IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH OUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES?

We will inform you if we are not satisfied with the product/service.  We have strict publishing standards in place to make sure we only feature products/services of exceptional quality. Mooi  Troues cannot guarantee that your product/service will be featured on our platforms.

WILL I GET THE PRODUCT BACK ONCE IT’S BEEN FEATURED?

No, unfortunately not.

WILL I GET THE IMAGES USED FOR THE ARTICLE?

No, unfortunately not. You can request to buy them from the photographer directly.

SHOULD I INFORM MOOI TROUES BEFORE SENDING A PRODUCT TO REVIEW?

Yes, at all times.  We will not just review any product delivered to our office.  Don’t expect us to feature any product you send to us before making contact with us and arranging delivery.

WHICH AREAS DO YOU TRAVEL TO, TO EXPERIENCE SERVICES?

If you invite us to experience a service or product at your property, we will be able to travel there, however you will be liable for travelling from our Cape Town based office.

I DON’T WANT MOOI TROUES TO KEEP THE PRODUCT AND WANT THEM TO RETURN IT, CAN THEY?

You will have to inform us in writing before the time.  If it is a product that is of great value and we only need to review it and return it, we need to be informed before delivery.   You will be liable for the courier to deliver the product and then also collect the product at our office.  We will also charge you for the editorial feature, please enquire about our advertising rates by clicking here.
